Join us at the Finnriver Orchard for our 'Live Music on the Land' series. On Sunday, November 11th we are pleased to host Marina Rosenquist from 2-5 pm at our Cider Garden located on a historic farm in the Chimacum valley.
Marina Rosenquist is a classically trained violinist, improviser, private instructor, and collaborative artist. Serving as a catapulting catalyst, voice lessons directed Rosenquist towards private violin instruction at age seven. Since that early age, a cessation of melodies hummed, sang, or played has never come whilst moving cross-country and over the ocean to aurally variegated regions of the world. Rosenquist enjoys teaching private violin lessons to all ages and providing music for weddings all over Washington state. Marina also enjoys performing with chamber orchestras, the Port Angeles Symphony, the Key City Public Theatre, and various small ensembles.
Enjoy farm-crafted cider tastings, flights, draft pours and apple brandy cocktails at the tasting room and cider garden from 12-9 pm (tastings end at 5 pm). Plan your visit here.
We also offer a range of lovely food options on Sundays, including locally-sourced picnic items and the following food vendors:
- Finnriver house-made bratwurst and salad from 12-8 pm
- Dented Buoy Wood-fired Pizza from 12-8pm
- Hama Hama Seafood from 12-8pm (or until sold out)
- La Crêpe de Quimper Crepes from 12-8pm
Finnriver keeps our music events free and open to the public. To support the bands, we raise our draft pours by $1 during music events-- with added proceeds going to the musicians. Thanks for helping us celebrate the 'culture' in agriculture.
Our events are family-friendly. Please no smoking, no outside food or alcohol, and no dogs.
We hope to see you here!
