ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Dr. Kevin O'Brien
Dean of Humanities at Pacific Lutheran University, and coordinates the teaching and work of the English, Languages & Literatures, Philosophy, and Religion Departments as well as the Rainier Writer's Workshop and the Scandinavian Cultural Center. His research focuses on the interconnections between religious faith and social justice, human ethics and environmental concerns, scientific data and moral commitments.
