Did you know that all popular modern web browsers are capable of natively rendering interactive 3D experiences? True story.
They do so through a JavaScript API called WebGL which is closely modeled after OpenGL. The code can be run in elements on a page and allows for access to GPU acceleration for rendering.

Tim as been coding professionally since the 90's and has worked in a variety of fields including scientific visualization, mapping, metrology, geocoding, DRM, linux, python, games, and teaching.
