As the Aquarium Docent, you are the "host" of the building, helping to orient visitors to the variety of subjects and specimens that might engage their curiosity. Docents in our Aquarium help to engage and educate the public about the marine animals and environment of the Pacific Northwest. We are able to accomplish this by displaying the local nearshore habitats of the Salish Sea in our tanks and promoting the animals that live within them. Through our touch tanks we can further facilitate the discovery of the interactions between the animals and their habitat.
