This class covers multiple techniques widely used in making Art Cloth, including the fundamentals of dyeing natural fiber with fiber reactive dyes, shibori, screen printing, ice dyeing, and gelatin plate printmaking. Beginner to intermediate students welcome!
Instructor, Ginny King, has three years experience in a commercial dye lab. She has studied (and continues to learn from) Jane Dunnewold, Ann Johnston, Elin Noble, and Kerr Grabowski.
