Latino Equality Alliance Presents: Calavera LGBTQ+ Festival, A Family-Friendly Celebration

Honoring its cultural significance, the Latino Equality Alliance (LEA) is excited to present its 3rd Annual “Calavera LGBTQ Festival,” a family friendly “Día de los Muertos” cultural celebration and remembrance of victims of homophobia, transphobia and gun violence. Join hundreds of people coming out to enjoy traditional altars, queer Latinx artists, face painting, an extravagant costume parade, food and drinks (alcohol and non-alcoholic). The festival sponsors include Delta/Aero Mexico, Walmart, Bank of America, and Keck Medicine of USC. Tickets are $30 per person and purchased at www.latinoequalityalliance.org.

Special performance by the iconic and first LGBTQ Mariachi in the world, Mariachi Arcoiris de Los Angeles, EstrellaTV personalities and dance music by DJ Martin M.

Latino Equality Alliance’s mission is to promote liberty, equality, and justice for the Latinx Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer + community. LEA is located at Mi Centro LGBTQ Community Center in Boyle Heights.
