Join us on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm in the Old Alcohol Plant Gallery with Mo Walrath as she takes you through an interdisciplinary journey to approach the mysteries, magic and technical skill within the creative process of drawing.
4 classes designed to approach the mysteries, magic, and technical skill within the creative process of drawing. During class we will explore observational drawing, botanical illustration, and a variety of individual/collaborative drawing exercises and techniques.
We will work with a variety of drawing materials focusing initially on pen, ink, charcoal and graphite with the possibility of exploring other materials of personal interest.
Open to all experience levels! If you are just beginning, follow the curiosity! If you are a seasoned artist, this will be a great way to dedicate time and share with others.
Drop in for one or two classes or come for the entire series.
Materials are provided, however feel free to bring along your favorite pens, paper, etc. Class fees are $15-$30 per class (sliding scale based on what you can offer). email email@example.com for more information.
Classes are led by Mo Walrath an interdisciplinary artist with a background in painting, drawing, and a BFA in art education. Organized by Kira Mardikes an artist, illustrator and art gallery manager at the Old Alcohol Plant Hotel.
