This 5-week course in Renaissance drawing theory is for any skill level. It reviews the basic elements of traditional European drawing - light, perspective, proportion, anatomy - elements that have been taught in the context of figure drawing and portraiture since the 1400's. Each interactive lecture will focus on a different element, with plenty of time for discussion, questions, and answers. Students will be emailed suggestions for practice during the weeks between lectures.
