We are exctied to offer you several different virtual options for farm tour this year as well as a cider pairing that you can pick up at finnriver this weekend. Find out more below!

On farm tour weekend we will be offering two virtual tours: One Q and A with orchard manager Cameron Denning, and a tour of our new production barn with head cidermaker Andrew Byers. These will be available by following this link and then scrolling down and selecting 'Finnriver Farm and Cidery'. This will bring you to our page with links to our videos.

Finnriver will also be offering a pairing to purchase and enjoy on Farm Tour weekend. It includes a jar of local carrot jam, warm spiced butter and fresh artisan bread paired with a bottle of Forest Ginger cider, for $25 total. (more info below) Pre order here or contact cidergarden@finnriver.com. Pick up your treats at Finnriver on Farm Tour weekend.

What's on the menu: A 4 oz jar of local Fall Carrot Jam, Warm Spiced Butter and fresh Artisan Bread from White Lotus Bakery featuring Finnriver grains. Pairs with a bottle of our seasonal botanical cider, Forest Ginger. Forest Ginger is fermented to dry and then steeped with locally harvested Douglas Fir tips and other evergreen needles. It is then infused with organic ginger root and sweetened with unrefined organic cane sugar for added depth and balance. A fabulous Fall pairing with local roots.

The Farm Tour pairing box will be available for pick up or can be enjoyed at the Cider Garden the weekend of Farm Tour, September 18-20th. We're open Friday-Sunday 12-8pm.

More Information about farm tour:

Professional photographs will visually transport participants to 21 local farm sites, and live online presentations will give people a chance to interact with local farmers. The Virtual Farm Tour will also provide information about buying directly from farmers, and resources for home gardeners.
This year’s Virtual Farm Tour has the longest list of participating farms in the history of Farm Tour, in part due to the event being virtual. Several participating farms are not able to host visitors on their farms, but they are excited to share their stories and products with the community.

Check out the list of 21 participating farm sites at GetOnTheFarm.Org - hopefully you’ll learn about at least one farm that you have never heard of! Continue checking the website as it grows leading up to the Virtual Farm Tour, with photos, extended farm profiles, resources, and videos.

***Please note that farms will NOT be open to the public on Farm Tour weekend.*** See Less
