In this workshop, we will explore the folk art that stems from the Dia de los Muertos holiday. Dia de los Muertos, or “Day of the Dead”, is the Mexican festival of honoring loved ones who have passed away. While sharing stories of our own loved ones, we will explore the meaning behind traditional Dia de los Muertos art and ceremonies. Students will learn techniques in tin art, drawing and paper craft.
