The most important page of any book is the cover. A well-designed cover entices a reader to pick up a book and look inside. Whether you’ve completed your comic and you’re ready to share your story with the world, or you want to develop the skills, techniques and inspiration to create your pages, this class is for you.

In this class, you’ll learn all of the skills necessary to create a painted cover for your book or poster using traditional materials. You will learn layout, lettering, finishing, and coloring techniques that are adaptable to all of the pages in a comic book or graphic novel whether you decide to create by hand or digitally.

This series is aimed at students age 14 and up. All skill levels are welcome.
