Meets once a month at the Finnriver Farm & Cidery at 10:15 AM, and walk from 10:30 - 11:30AM on a Sunday (see schedule below) for a farm variation on the nourishing, contemplative practice of "forest bathing." These monthly walks will allow us to enjoy the progress of apple and pear trees as they move through their cycle of life, as well as meet the other wild inhabitants residing at the farm. As we walk slowly and quietly around the orchards we can allow our senses to settle into the present moment, step by step.
Meet at the Finnriver service entrance off Rhody Drive (turn into the driveway next to the fire station) and meet at the kiosk in the Cider Garden Yard. Wear all-weather gear and sturdy walking shoes, as the orchard lanes are a bit uneven. Contact our guide Ellen at 360-316-6544 for questions about mobility and access. Learn more about Finnriver at: www.finnriver.com.
Sunday Orchard Bathing schedule: Please note that Finnriver is closed to the public until noon. Orchard bathers are encouraged to stay and enjoy a sip and a nosh and discuss their bathing experience when the cidery opens. Donations to the guide are encouraged- let's support each other!
