The Port Townsend Heritage Association (PTHA) is proud to offer public Uptown Walking Tours every Sunday at 11:00 am through the end of August 2022. Tours start and end at the Jefferson County Courthouse in POrt Townsend, WA 98368.


Uptown tours have not been offered for years and we wanted to change that. Tours are designed for residents and visitors.


Explore the quaint Uptown neighborhood surrounding the Jefferson County Courthouse with your local guide. Stroll past iconic and lesser known, yet historically significant, Victorian abodes built by Port Townsend's notable and obscure denizens in the 1800's. Hear their stories from Boom to Bust.

Meet your guide on the front steps of the Jefferson County Courthouse at 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend 5 to 10 minutes before your tour time. Tours run rain or shine.

90 min walking tour, about a 1.5 mile walk
NOT ADA accessible, uneven surfaces, elevation changes, stairs, with few sidewalks.
