Join us for the second annual Frida Kahlo week in Port Townsend and Chimacum. Celebrating the life and art of one of the most iconic women in pop culture.
The Castle welcomes back Deseo Carmin, an award winning performer known for her unforgettable performances as Frida Kahlo, fusing Latin, jazz and funk with a spice of flamenco.
The celebration will take place outside in the Courtyard. There will be dancing and carnaval mask painting (the masks and paint will be provided). We encourage everyone involved to dress in bright colors, and wear flowers in their hair to celebrate this incredible woman.
