Kilchoman is a true family owned distillery in Islay, Scotland. Anthony Wills and his wife Kathy created Kilchoman from a collection of derelict farm buildings in 2005, and in doing so they established the first new distillery to be built on Islay in over 124 years, known for being a farm to table distillery and for it's experimental culture. As a family owned business, all the family members wear many hats. Their son James Wills is now one of the Sales and Marketing Managers for the distillery, and we are fortunate enough to host him on August 23rd for a Kilchoman "Family Tasting" - hosting a member of the Kilchoman (Wills) family AND tasting through the Kilchoman family of whiskies.
The cost is $20 to attend and includes a peg of Machir Bay, Sanaig, and the NEW Evolution Sauternes Cask release. We will also have a selection of other Kilchoman releases you may purchase by the peg (similar to how we do our Ardbeg Day event, if you've attended that). Walk-ins will be welcome if space allows, but we encourage purchasing your ticket in advance to reserve your spot. You may purchase a ticket only, or add a meat and cheese plate ($8) or veggie and hummus plate ($8) or both ($16).
