Marina Rosenquist (violinist) and Sage Coy (cellist) bring their instruments together primarily within the classical realm, giving new life to familiar and rarely heard composers. The duo, both classically trained musicians, began their collaboration in 2016, weaving improvised ideas and thoughtful ornamentation into their music. They are collectively inspired by the beautiful surroundings and soundscapes of the Olympic Peninsula, and seek to infuse their songs with the mystique of local mountains and rivers to engage their listeners in an immersive musical experience.
