With musical roots beginning in the Sacramento Valley, CA, Kevin Lee Magner relocated to Sequim and has been playing music up, down, and across the North Olympic Peninsula for five decades performing solo or fronting a variety of bands playing a wide array of musical styles. He has been working in two duos, one with mandolin player Steve Lopes (formerly of Pies on the Run and Bound To Happen) in The Free Rangers and another with Locos Only guitarist Scott Bradley in Dos Locos, playing small venues. Inspired by the works of the Eric Bibb, John Hiatt, Gene Clark, and the late Jesse Winchester, Kevin continues to write and play acoustically as a solo artist interweaving songs from these venerable songwriters in with his own compositions. Prepare to hear songs and ballads depicting the irony of life in love and longing, heartbreak and hard work, and lessons learned on the journey.
