Trevor Hanson is a seven-string guitarist from Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. After a year’s absence from performance, he is scheduling only limited live appearances in 2023, making this a special occasion. Trevor’s solo music draws on jazz, classical, latin, folk, and other styles, including improvised and original material.
Prior to his 2022 hiatus, Trevor had a very busy schedule throughout the region, playing solo and with ensembles at many venues. Before moving to the Olympic Peninsula in 2004, Trevor worked and taught on the East Coast and in Chicago. His teachers included jazz icons Chuck Wayne and Sal Salvador, as well as classical guitarist Myroslav Radawiec and composer Easley Blackwood.
