Spring Tide combines original songs with great older tunes, both familiar and lesser-known. We’ll remind you of your favorites by iconic past performers – the Kingston Trio, Tommy Makem, Woody Guthrie, Gordon Lightfoot – and we’ll also introduce you to new and lesser-known gems. We love the rich mixture of folk music styles available to us today, both ancient and modern and mingling new works with older sources – traditional U.S. folk music, songs from the 60s folk revival, Irish and Scottish music, sea shanties and more. Join us, and we’ll have you singing and clapping along.
