Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is pleased to host two Day of Mindfulness Retreats this fall, (Oct 14th and Dec. 9th 2017) led by mindfulness teacher and Zen practitioner Kurt Hoelting. These retreats are open to seasoned practitioners and beginners alike. An orientation for beginners will be held at 9:00 am before the retreat.
We live in tumultuous times, culturally, politically and ecologically. In the face of accelerating change, many people are discovering mindfulness as a powerful tool for building resilience, inner stability, and supportive community. Indeed, our capacity to be agents of healing, for ourselves and others, depends on our ability to navigate these challenges with skill and with heart. Mindfulness offers practical tools for doing this. These retreats, held in silence with the guidance of an experienced teacher, offer an opportunity to unplug from the stresses of everyday life and work, and to restore our inner depth, vitality and resilience, in community with other practitioners.
To Register for one or both dates: Send full name & email address to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 360-302-1980 at least 5 days in advance of retreat; additional information about what to bring will be forwarded.
Suggested Donation: $15 - $25
