Newark’s Forest Hill Historic District is proud to host it’s 4th celebration of community arts on Saturday, September 23rd (rain date Sunday, the 24th), with KidsFest at 11am-12pm and PorchFest at 12-6pm.

Organized by the Forest Hill Community Association, our FREE family-friendly event will have residents from the neighborhood make their porches available to serve as community stages for more than 50 performing and visual artists of all styles and genres. The entertainment kicks off at 11am with KidsFest, a lively fun-filled hour of kid-friendly activities and entertainment featuring a wonderful performance by members of THE NEW JERSEY SYMPHONY, sponsored by the TD Charitable Foundation. At 12pm PorchFest begins, and attendees will be invited to experience this entertainment-filled neighborhood as well as a wide array of food trucks.
