Join us the last weekend in November for Finnriver's 4th annual ‘Community Bowls & Soup Share’ and Harvest Craft Fair.
Friday 11/24
Join LaughinGnome Pottery to decorate your own mug or cup in this workshop from 2-4pm at the Cider Garden. Darby will bring tools and will offer his professional guidance as you go (your etching may not take a full two hours). The hand thrown mugs and cups will be cured to leather hard and ready for you to scribe with decorations! Darby will then fire your mug/cup and will ship or arrange pick-up post firing. $20 for cups or $40 for a mug with a handle.

Saturday 11/25
Community Bowls & Soup Share is a collective gesture of care and generosity -- offering people an opportunity to take home a beautiful locally-made ceramic bowl with a $30+ donation to Port Townsend Sunrise Rotary Club. Funds raised are then directed to several community wellness efforts-- this year to the Olympic Neighbors and the Longhouse for the People project.
Community members will be able to select their bowl from a varied selection handcrafted by local potters at LaughinGnome Pottery, Center Valley Pottery, Millbrook Clayworks and Earth and Aether. Meanwhile, all are invited to access a free bowl of delicious soup in-person at the Cider Garden starting Saturday at noon, while supplies last.
Saturday 11/25 from is also Small Business Saturday and a chance to buy local and invigorate our local creative economy by attending the annual Harvest Craft Fair in the Haybarn from 12-5:30pm., coordinated by Salish Sea Makers Market-- with unique holiday gifts including pottery, textile artists, jewelry, print art, herbal products and more. The Haybarn is an uninsulated space so please come bundled up!
Throughout the weekend, the community are also invited to take a self-guided Gratitude Walk that leads folks on a trail of thoughtful and inspiring quotations through the Finnriver Orchard. Take a stroll, take a breath, take time to feel gratitude for the good Earth that sustains us!
The Finnriver taproom will be open throughout the weekend for enjoying hard cider and hot drinks as well as serving food from their Kitchen and hosting local food vendors. Live music on the land as usual all weekend.
