Expectations & Benefits

YYAAC is a local Youth and Young Adult Advisory Council for ages 14-25. We work together to create a local resource center and hang spot for ourselves and our peers. In collaboration with OWL360 and Nest staff, YYAAC is supported to express our needs, share ideas, explore leadership, and discuss current issues relevant to our lives. We are the experts on matters that directly affect us. New members welcome! Reach out to learn more.

  • YYA council members commit 2.5 hours minimum / month
attend 1.5 hr meeting / month + 1 hr of volunteerism
(Earn volunteer & community service hours when requested).
  • Grow your leadership skills!
    • attend OWL360 board meetings as a YYAAC liaison
    • facilitate YYAAC meetings
    • organize events that center your interests / your peers
    • attend outreach events as a Nest ambassador
