A dance movement experience for all-ages for everyone and every body. No steps, no choreography, no instruction. Everyone dances their own way. The only guideline is no talking once the set list begins. You'll get to be spontaneous, celebrate movement, take your body wherever it wants to go. People dance solo, sometimes pair together, sometimes clusters of group dancing form. The music inspires, and movement comes alive. A safe, beautiful place to be in the body.

"One of the most wonderful, healing and amazing things I do in my life, week to week. I am so lucky this exists where I live."

Movement and hearing beautiful music from all over the world is therapeutic and inspiring. Our set list begins slow, rises to a peak, then comes back down again in 80 minutes of music. You'll have your own unique dancing journey. Music is put together by DJs Jon and Grace (DJ-Zondo and DJ G-race) who created this space in 2013 and it's been going strong ever since. We take requests a few days before the dance. Set lists include world music, current popular dance music, genres of every kind, and uplifting musical beats. You'll hear songs from everywhere: Turkey, China, Greece, Indonesia, South Africa, Italy for example, as well as familiar songs from many eras in the USA or UK including 1940s, 50s, 90s, 2010s and brand new releases.

We have a short opening circle to begin, and a 15 minute closing circle at the end.

Creating community: Once a month, anyone who wishes can join us at Masala Indian restaurant one block north of our dance hall for lunch.

Children are welcome if attended by a caregiver. Adults sliding scale $15-$25, children 12 and under $0-$10.
