Join artist Sue Stanton and make one-of-a-kind artwork for yourself or to give to a loved one. Wrapping stones is an art form that has been practiced for centuries, and that many people value for its spiritual benefits. The practice enhances positive energy and helps create a deeper connection between us and nature, Sue finds.
All materials are included, while you're encouraged to bring one or two oval, flat and smooth stones, about an inch larger than your hand. It is important that the stone be oval and flat with longer edges, to give us more space for designing. Also, bring a keepsake or design element — a shell, twig, piece of jewelry, charm, feather, etc. — to be the focal point of the stone.
