Melanie Kelman from the Canadian Geological Survey will give an illustrated presentation on the popular Sea to Sky Highway GeoTour, from Vancouver through Whistler to Pemberton. This amazing virtual tour at the Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 2333 San Juan Avenue, is sponsored by the Jefferson Land Trust Geology Group. The presentation is free and open to the public, although $5 donations would be appreciated to defray expenses. If you are considering a road trip in Canada anytime soon, this is a presentation not to miss. You’ll see how glaciation, erosion, the sea, volcanoes and man have shaped this spectacular landscape. In addition, the Looney is less (80 U.S. cents), the people are friendly, and the scenic overlooks and waterfalls are fantastic.
