Join us at the Finnriver Orchard and enjoy our 'Live Music on the Land' series. On Saturday, May 19th we are pleased to host the Choroloco at our Cider Garden located on a historic farm in the Chimacum valley.
Choroloco is a Seattle based acoustic trio specializing in choro, a highly melodic and rhythmic instrumental form of Brazilian popular music born in 1920's Rio de Janeiro. Energetic and syncopated, choro mixes the melodic forms of European music, Afro-Brazilian rhythms, and improvisation. On traditional Brazilian instruments (7-string guitar, bandolim, cavaquinho, and pandeiro) and the vibraphone they play choros old and new, from the classics of the choro repertoire to modern compositions and originals.
Enjoy farm-crafted cider tastings, flights, draft pours and apple brandy cocktails at the tasting room and cider garden from 12-9 pm. *Tastings end at 5:30 pm
