This class is perfect for beginners or those who haven't painted in a while. Students will learn BASIC TECHNIQUES (wet-in-wet, hard edge/soft edge, painting within the wet, charging, scumbling) and BASIC CONCEPTS (palette maintenance, color mixing, use of value to create distance, making it pop.) This is a hands-on class with demos by instructor and one-on-one time with each student.
This class is appropriate for beginners and those who want to continue or refresh their skills. Students can expect demos and one-on-one instruction. Technique is the focus, using the project image to help each student learn the control of water vs pigment...wet-in-wet, using value to create shape and distance, use of layers, color mixing. Each student is encouraged to work at their own pace.
