Micaela can stun a room with a simple melody and blend in with any event or concert with vocals reminiscent of Fiona Apple, KT Tunstall, and Nora Jones as well as elegant guitar skills developed over many years performing and teaching. Micaela has recorded 5 original albums with various projects, worked as a studio musician, won several notable songwriting awards and grants, and toured nationally for 8 years. She moved to Washington in 2015 and quickly fell in love with the Olympic Peninsula and Port Townsend where she currently she teaches guitar, bass, ukulele, and mandolin lessons at Crossroads music along with performing throughout the region.
As for her vocal style and delivery is world class. She brings some serious vocal mojo to the table and reminds me of a female Lenny Kravitz. Her falsetto is to die for and her vocal phrasing is extremely melodic, creative and entertaining. It’s obvious she’s a marquee talent….make no bones about it, shes got the charisma, the pipes, the persona, the writing skills, and she plays a mean guitar.
