DESCRIPTION:The Boerne Book Festival will take place on Saturday\, Oct
 ober 4th\, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.\, on the grounds of the beautiful Pa
 trick Heath Public Library in Boerne\, Texas\, 451 North Main Street.
   This is the signature program facilitated by the Patrick Heath Publ
 ic Library.\nAs always\, the festival focuses on Texas and its rich hi
 story.  Some of the highlights this year include:  Bestselling autho
 r Bryan Burrough and his new book “The Gunfighters:  How Texas Made
  the West Wild\,” an interview with bestselling author Stephen Harri
 gan on his latest books\, fan favorites James Wade and Andrew Porter o
 n the Writers’ League of Texas panel discussion\, and a cookbook aut
 hor panel featuring several area members of Les Dames de Escoffier. \
 nSome of our featured vendor tents this year include the Society of Ch
 ildren’s Book Writers and Illustrators\, UT Press\, Texas Tech Unive
 rsity Press\, the San Antonio Sci-Fi and Fantasy Authors\, the Kendall
  County Historical Association\, South Texas Authors of Romance\, and
