DESCRIPTION:Sketching and painting the human figure from life is an es
 sential art skill that many artists continue thoughout their lives. Qu
 imper Arts hires local model\, who generally pose nude but occasionall
 y clothed. All artists\, including beginners\, are welcome. There is n
 o instruction but many participants will give helpful tips if asked. E
 ach session costs $15 for the general public\, $10 for Quimper Arts me
 mbers\, to cover model's pay and room rent.Bring your own art material
 s (charcoal\, watercolors paper\, etc.). We have easels\, tables and "
 horses" (drawing benches with an upright support for a drawing pad.)\n
 The morning life drawing session consists of shorter poses\, which sta
 rt at one minute and go up to 20 minutes. For short pose\, most partic
 ipants sketch in pencil or charcoal\, although other media are welcome
 . The doors open at 9:00 a.m. for the morning session.
