  Art of Quimper showcases the world class craft featuring local artisa
 ns John McCormack\, Gunter Reimnitz and Steve Leggett.\nThey have for
 mal training from among the most acclaimed art and design schools in t
 he country including The Rhode Island School of Design\, The North Ben
 net Street School in Boston and the San Francisco Art Institute. Moreo
 ver they bring the richness of their lives to their work. \nSteve Leg
 gett ran the mill and joinery shop at Timbercraft Homes and is a sculp
 tor\, machinist and luthier.\nBorn and raised on Kodiak Island\, Alask
 a\, Gunter Reimnitz\, fine metalsmith\, spent his childhood fishing fo
 r salmon on a 42’ fishing boat with his family. Not surprisingly mar
 ine life often shows up in his work along with his signature Abraham
 ’s Crow clutching a red berry in its beak.\nJohn McCormack often bri
 ngs his sense of humor and whimsy into his work. His serious sense of 
 high functional design shines throughout his body of work. \n"The art
