DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the new year with Science Central’s Countdown
  to Noon on December 31st from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Science Central’s
  annual New Year’s Eve celebration takes the excitement of the holid
 ay’s countdown to midnight and recreates it at noon and 2 PM for p
 artygoers of all ages with early bedtimes. This event will also featu
 re a sensory-friendly version of the big drop.Countdown To Noon featu
 res epic balloon drops from the top level through the center of our mu
 seum. This event is included with admission and doesn’t require spec
 ial reservations. Participants are invited to make a wish and write it
  on a balloon to be included in one of the big drops. \nDuring Decemb
 er\, Science Central staff and volunteers will be inflating balloons i
 n the temporary exhibitions gallery. While staff are present\, visitor
 s can find those preparing balloons and sign their names on a balloon 
 to make a wish for 2026. This is a way you can participate even if you
  can’t join us for the official event! \n*Please note: After the dr
 op\, visitors should anticipate hearing the sound of popping balloons 
 and bring ear protection\, if desired.
