DESCRIPTION:In this fun two-day workshop\, you'll explore watercolor p
 ainting as a practice to relax and be creative. With teaching artist L
 isa Anderson as your guide\, you'll dive into painting in-season botan
 icals.\nOn the first day\, we'll paint a color wheel using the three m
 odern primary colors\, and you'll have time to practice drawing and ap
 ply your color mixing skills. Lisa will demonstrate how to work with w
 atercolor paint to develop your palette.We'll also practice wet-in-wet
  and glazing techniques. We'll have time to play and experiment\, to g
 et comfortable with watercolor effects. Lisa will demonstrate the pain
 ting process and give one-on-one help. On day two\, we'll cover compo
 sition and background color\, and you'll have a chance to use your new
  skills to create a cohesive painting. You will come away with a final
  piece and the skills to create many more.
