DESCRIPTION:Miss Oregon Week returns to Seaside for its 79th year\, br
 inging one of the largest contestant groups in recent history to the S
 easide Civic & Convention Center. This year\, 29 Miss contestants and 
 19 Teen contestants from across Oregon will compete for scholarships\,
  leadership opportunities\, and the chance to represent the state on t
 he Miss America stage.\nThe week features a 90s-inspired production\, 
 an opening number with original designs by Marc Defang\, and special a
 ppearances by Billy Flanigan\, known to Disney fans as “Mr. Disney\,
 ” and Miss America 2002 Katie Harman\, Oregon’s first and only Mis
 s America. Contestants will also take over Seaside for a day\, highlig
 hting local businesses\, attractions\, restaurants\, and favorite plac
 es to visit along the Oregon Coast.
