 over 2\,000 years ago.  The Orthodox Church offers you the authentic 
 Christian Tradition which fulfills life daily\, not just on Sunday.  
 We invite you to worship with us at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church\, 369
  Green Avenue\, East Meadow.  The parish\, founded in 1924\, is the f
 irst Orthodox Christian parish in the Nassau/Suffolk area and centrall
 y located in mid-island East Meadow.  Holy Trinity Church is a divers
 e community of Orthodox Christians who come from all walks of life and
  ethnicities\, gathering in the oneness of Faith to worship God in the
  fullness of the Church’s liturgical life.  The parish also has a s
 trong commitment to serving others through various charities.  We wel
 come all people seeking a community rooted in the oldest Christian Chu
 rch with an emphasis on Holy Scripture\, Holy Tradition\, liturgical a
 nd prayer life\, and traditional Christian values.\n \nAll services a
 re conducted in English.  The Divine Liturgy (Eucharist) is celebrate
 d every Sunday and feast day at 9:30 AM (Hours at 9:00 AM).  Please b
 e aware that only Orthodox Christians are allowed to partake of the Eu
 charist and other sacraments according to the ancient canons\, but oth
 ers are welcome to receive a blessing.  Coffee hour follows the Divin
 e Liturgy every Sunday.  Vespers (evening prayer) are served every Sa
 turday and on the eve of feast days at 6:00 PM.  Services are also st
