SUMMARY:Toots McApplesauce: Only Slightly Misbehaving
DESCRIPTION:Vintage glamour. Timeless songs. Silly comedy. And only sl
ightly bad behavior.\nJoin Toots McApplesauce on Friday\, October 9\,
from 7:00–9:00 p.m. at Visionarium Live Italian in South Pasadena fo
 r Only Slightly Misbehaving\, a vintage-inspired musical comedy cabare
t where old Hollywood elegance meets a gloriously wandering train of t
hought.\nToots is an elegant society lady—or at least that’s the p
lan. Through classic jazz standards\, Great American Songbook favorite
 s\, original musical parody\, character comedy\, storytelling\, and pl
ayful audience interaction\, she attempts to maintain her dignity whil
e her junk-drawer brain has other ideas. Between the music\, the memor
ies\, and whatever she came into the room to say\, the evening may wan
der delightfully off course.\nBehind Toots is Susan Sassi\, a Los Ange
 les-based vocalist\, actor\, comedy writer\, and cabaret performer who
se work blends vintage entertainment with sharp contemporary humor. A
graduate of Point Park Conservatory’s Musical Theatre program\, Susa
n has also trained with UCB\, iO\, Second City\, and the Walnut Street
Theatre Acting Apprenticeship.\nWhether you love classic jazz\, vinta
ge cabaret\, character comedy\, or simply appreciate a woman desperate
ly trying to keep an evening classy\, Only Slightly Misbehaving promis
es music\, laughter\, glamour\, and just the right amount of mischief.
 \nDoors open at 6:00 p.m.Show begins at 7:00 p.m.\nYour $25 ticket wil
 l be credited toward the venue’s $30 food-and-beverage minimum.\nRes
