Snap151 Brings Fort Worth’s First Selfie-Centric Space
Instagrammable Experience in Limited Time Pop Up Photo Studio
Do it for the ‘gram. A trend that has swept the rest of the US is headed to Fort Worth. Doors open on Fort Worth’s first immersive selfie-centric space, Snap151, in January at WestBend, between DryBar and Bonobos. This limited engagement was born out of the desire to create a space with whimsy and fun for Fort Worth, powered by a photogenic color palette, that is equally enjoyed in both the physical environment and digitally (via social media). This pop up photo studio will feature a collective of Instagram-worthy attractions, including neon, murals, streamers, sparkles and mega-sized props.
Selfie-centric pop ups have swept the nation, most notably the Museum of Ice Cream and Color Factory, both of which have convened in various cities, including New York and San Francisco. As well as Dallas-based opportunities, Sweet Tooth Hotel and Psychedelic Robot.
It is a collective of snap-worthy exhibits that cater towards both a physical and digital audience. Think of Snap151 as a photo studio with strategically curated ‘grammable vignettes. Eye-catching colors, larger-than-life props and interactive elements all add to the smile-inducing nature of this exhibit.
Gone are the days of simply attending an event or exhibit. The true experience is completed once it is commented on and shared with others, which is why Snap151 is designed for you, your phone and your Insta-feed.
Snap151 will pop up at 1701 River Run Suite 151, Fort Worth, TX 76107 between DryBar and Bonobos in the WestBend Shopping Center.
Snap151’s limited run goes from January 7 to January 27, 2019. Tickets are on sale now and must be purchased in advance at www.snap151.com. General admission tickets are $16.
