A Thanksgiving Pre-Funk Cooking Extravaganza! We’re making apple pie and all the sides to get you ready for the big turkey day. It’s an internet party but if you live in Seattle we’ll deliver you all the ingredients to make:
Chef Brindley’s Mom’s Apple Pie
Stuffing Bread Pudding (Like bread pudding and stuffing had a savory baby)
Carroty Carrots – the side that surprises
And we will have long philosophical talks about gravy. At 6pm we’ll start with a leisurely pie tutorial. We’ll get those pies in the oven and at 7pm it’s ON…we’ll be putting together a richer and more delicious version of classic stuffing, (or dressing, if you prefer,) and while that’s cooking we’re making fresh cranberry sauce with orange and ginger and Erin’s favorite side: Cardamom Carroty Carrots. (Carrots cooked in carrot juice and butter.) Add our wine to your delivery and all you’ll have to do Thursday is make your turkey and watch the parade.
