Everyday is Christmas for gentle-hearted “Santanist” Sugar Plum Gary! Gary (who looks an awful lot like Seattle-based comedian Emmett Montgomery) has been possessed by the Holiday Spirit since Santa came to visit and he was the only survivor. He shares the fun cosmic horror with us in this annual tradition — his fifth December at 18th & Union!
Through conversation with the audience*, the real reason for the season begins to take shape. Gary’s guests can ask questions about the terrifying and ancient truths of Christmas, and how best to survive the night. This year, you can join Gary in-person (vax required) or from your home (if you know how Zoom works).
(*Interaction is encouraged, but isn’t required to have a great time.)
Because it’s important to take care of each other in these strange and scary times, we will be accepting donations of essential needs items (socks, hygiene items, etc.) in partnership with Be:Seattle, an organization that champions tenants’ rights and advocates for the homeless.
Does anyone have a question about Christmas?
