This workshop begins outdoors, looking at examples of plants that make good paper. We will discuss where, when, and how to collect plants that are suitable for papermaking. Participants will create their own sheets of paper using pulp from locally-sourced plants and cloth rag. Students will practice the European-style forming technique and create a small edition of handmade paper to take home.
All supplies are provided. Pre-registration is required. $40, $30 for garden members.
