Friends of the Trees was founded in 1978 and started a new planting plot at Finnriver Farm in 2017, featuring a colorful and fragrant garden of healing plants. Michael "Skeeter" Pilarski - the founder - is a life-long student of plants and earth repair, working as a farmer, educator, author and permaculture instructor. The plot at Finnriver grows a diversity of medicinal and food plants in a complex, agroforestry system, blending permaculture, restorative ecology, and ethnobotany to enhance restorative land practices. FTS offers workshops and educational events at the farm and their Port Hadlock base throughout the year.
Friends of the Trees offers over 80 species in the following categories:

~Perennial Herb Seedlings - Pick-Up Only
~Trees & Shrubs Bare-Root - Pick-Up Only
This is a great way for herb farmers and gardeners to diversify and have much faster results than starting from seed.
