The Irish Breakfast Trad Session, hosted by local band Irish Breakfast. This session will feature traditional Irish — as well as the occasional Scottish and Cape Breton — tunes and songs.
Irish sessions are a form of community music traditionally held in pubs and are open to musicians who know the musical style and like to play in a communal setting. Musicians take turns starting sets of tunes or singing a song and are sensitive to how they are musically interacting with the group (not playing loudly over others, taking turns if there are multiple instruments like guitar or bodhran).
