Please Join Us for a Community Screening of "Water Is Love: Ripples of Regeneration" Port Townsend WA March 22nd 2025
The Port Townsend library and Jill Allison are excited to announce a special community screening of the award-winning documentary, "Water Is Love: Ripples of Regeneration," on March 22nd at 10:30AM. This event will take place at Port Townsend public library ‘pink house’, located at 1220 Lawrence St. Port Townsend. The screening is free of charge and open to the public, offering a unique opportunity for community members to come together and explore the vital role of water in our lives and the urgent need for water conservation to be a part of the climate change debate. "Water Is Love: Ripples of Regeneration" is a poignant documentary that delves into the intricate relationship between communities and their water sources. The film highlights the challenges faced by various communities worldwide in ensuring sustainable water management and showcases inspiring stories of resilience and regeneration.
Following the screening of the movie, Jim Stanger from the Northwest Olympic Salmon Coalition, will present information about the projects supporting local water restoration that the coalition has been working on. If time allows, we will have a question and answer session after his presentation.
