Abel Rocha (voice, harp, guitar, cuatro) is a Mexico City-born folklorist, singer and multi-instrumentalist who performs music of Mexico, Venezuela, Peru, Chile and Argentina. He is a foundational member of groups including Trío Guadalevín. Correo Aereo, and Los Flacos and was the subject of the KCTS 9 Seattle Emmy-nominated documentary, Los Artistas.
Madeleine Sosin (voice, violin, percussion) is a multi-instrumentalist and founding member of Correo Aereo (Latin American Music) and Andalibre (Flamenco music and dance trio). Her performances are beautifully captivating, whether she is singing, playing violin, or maracas, inducing a state of ecstatic joy with her finely tuned melodic and rhythmic sensibilities. Madeleine is a music teacher and studied at California Institute of the Arts.
Amy Denio (clarinet, accordion, voice) is an award-winning singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, improviser, record producer, and recording engineer. She records and performs on guitars, electric bass, ukulele, reed flutes, clarinet, alto sax, accordion, percussion, and has a four-octave vocal range.
*30 minutes before music starts, a $5/person cover charge (excluding children) will be collected. All funds go to the music program.
