A cornerstone of LA summer culture returns. Grand Performances — the city’s longest-running free outdoor concert series — is back at California Plaza every Saturday from June 14 through August 23, presenting a bold new season where local icons, global legends, and genre-bending trailblazers share the spotlight.
Now in its 39th year, the series celebrates the spirit of Los Angeles with a wide-spanning mix of modern and traditional sounds from orchestral g-funk, Latin ska, spiritual jazz, soulful house, and psychedelic boleros — with artists representing Pakistan, Dominican Republic, Brazil and neighborhoods all across Los Angeles.
