IM Houston (IM) will celebrate dialogue, collaboration and service at its annual Tapestry Gala on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Hilton Americas – Houston.
This year’s gala will recognize Tapestry Honoree Charlene Chuang, a 37-year veteran in the oil and gas industry, primarily with BP, who is passionate about community service and served as the Board Chair for many Houston-based nonprofit organizations, including IM Houston, the Chinese Community Center, and the Asian Pacific American Heritage Association.

For more than 60 years, IM has united people of diverse backgrounds to serve the Greater Houston area and manifests the strength of shared beliefs through four areas of service to the greater Houston community: Meals on Wheels for Greater Houston and Galveston County/Animeals; Refugee Services; Interfaith Relations and Community Partnerships; and Volunteer Houston.
