We all rely on our gut feelings to make decisions or have those aha-moments in the shower when everything makes sense. Our brains are puzzle solving machines that take apart patterns around us to come up with intuition and insight. This is also used in divinations like tarot, astrology and oracle readings where imagery and metaphors are used to guide our intuition and make those leap of faith interpretations. In this interactive talk/workshop, Prof. Ramakrishnan will guide you through the neural circuits that help you move from seeinmg just images, to making intuitive decisions to gaining insight. We will discuss themes from his book The Neuroscience of Tarot (2024) from Llewelyn Worldwide. Bring a journal, your favorite deck and an open mind!
