Spend a lighthearted afternoon creating the holiday paper you need to wrap presents for your loved ones! In this class we'll create our own stamps with an easy-to-use linocut material called rubber-cut. For the best possible variety of patterns, participants will have a chance to share and swap the stamps they make. We'll use water-soluble printing ink in a variety of colors, so each sheet of paper will become a unique wrapping for your gifts this season.
All materials and supplies are provided!
ABOUT MARTHA
Martha Worthley is a painter and fabric designer for her business Mim and Poppy Design, which sells tablecloths and home goods created from her custom printed fabric.
Martha’s work for Mim and Poppy reflects a lifetime of painting her world, and her collection of 1930s-1950s-era dishes, teapots, salt & pepper shakers, fruit labels, and postcards. Her paintings draw on Pacific Northwest bounty: tulips grown in nearby fields, garden flowers and images of sea life.
