Allswell—a band for the people, a songwriters' collective, a dinner club, a variety show—has taken shape over the past decade in the misty woods of a small Peninsular town a ferry ride away from Seattle. Forging bonds in the overlapping emotional fires of a global pandemic and the increasingly fraught politics of our time, Allswell channels joy, grief, humor, & love through ear-pleasing, heart-calming, harmony-sweetened danceworthy original music.

Mixing irreverence with poignancy, the five multi-instrumentalist members employ their collective tastes and experiences to blend genres like watercolor—folky, funky, danceworthy, driving, theatrical. A bluegrass-adjacent song inspired by a sci-fi novel segues into second-line beats and accordions, then swerves into . . . a Mariah Carey cover? & a good time is had by all. We are Allswell, and we hope you are, too!
